The newly built KFC is located at the Caltex Petrol Station in Lyndhurst. The project was managed through stage 1 to 6 (Inception to Close-out) in a matter of 4 months. This included the base built process as well as the fit-out to the Go-Live stage.
The erf was handed over as a brownfield where the main contractor started construction on the building shell. During these stages, the project was managed to ensure the specifications are adhered to as per stage 1 - Inception and on time for the fit-out commencement.
On completion of the construction of the building shell, the fit-out contractor was appointed. A competitive tendering process ensued to appoint all subcontractors to finalise the fit-out.
The close-out stage ensured all snags were completed on the store ensuring strict convergence on the KFC MBFK standards. The client was supplied with the necessary hand over documentation and a fully operational store ready for trading.
